Media Leadership Program

Program Objectives:

The program aims to create a second tier and a new generation of media leaders capable of leading local and Arab media institutions through the enhancement of their leadership skills and the development of their leadership and executive methods. The program's objectives are as follows:

• Developing a deep understanding of leadership styles and best practices.
• Enhancing self-awareness and emotional intelligence of the leader.
• Developing effective communication and interpersonal skills for successful collaborations.
• Enhancing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Building a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate change and uncertainty.
• Developing the necessary skills to motivate and inspire teams for high performance.
• Promoting ethical leadership and fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
• Providing opportunities for communication, guidance, and professional growth.

The program is tailored for individuals within the media sector boasting a tenure of at least 10 years. It aims to refine their leadership aptitude, enabling a transition from mid-career positions to executive leadership roles.

Program Delivery Method:

• The program will be delivered through a combination of in-person and virtual workshops, led by experienced and globally recognized trainers, fluent in both English and Arabic. These workshops will include interactive group discussions, case studies, role-playing exercises, individual coaching, and mentoring sessions.
• Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on training at both international and Arab media institutions, as well as to attend sessions with industry experts.
• Online educational resources will be provided, including research materials, video content, and assessments. 
• Regular progress assessments and feedback mechanisms will be in place to track participants' development. 

Program Application Dates:

The program application will open on October 15, 2023, and close on October 30, 2023. The announcement of selected candidates will be made on November 30, 2023.
