Saudi Arabia Hosts Meeting of Arab Information Ministers Council's Executive Bureau

Saudi Arabia Hosts Meeting of Arab Information Ministers Council's Executive Bureau

The Executive Bureau of Arab Information Ministers Council held its 10th ordinary session at the King Faisal Conference Hall here today. In his speech during the meeting, Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah conveyed to the audience the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers, and Minister of Defense, as well as their wishes for a successful meeting. The Minister also said that the meeting will address a number of issues, including means of supporting the Palestinian cause through media as well as proposals by a number of Arab countries to amend the Media Honor Charter. Minister Al-Shabanah also stressed the role and responsibility of the Arab media in confronting terrorism through the implementation of specific programs that disseminate awareness about this dangerous phenomenon.
