General Commission for Audiovisual Media Approves Films Ratings

General Commission for Audiovisual Media has approved a system of screening and content classification for films to be shown in cinemas in the Kingdom suitable for all ages. This system consists of 6 categories, as each category corresponds to the age, scenes and subjects covered in the film, where children under the age of 12 will be prevented from watching films that contain some scenes that do not fit the nature of their ages. According to the system, children will not be allowed to enter movie theaters unless they are accompanied by adults.
