Minister of Media Visits the Ministry's Sectors

Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah visited here today a headquarters of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Riyadh. The minister toured the SPA's departments and departments and was briefed on the workflow in the halls of editing and preparing news items. The minister of media was also briefed on preparing and transmitting news items in accordance with the technical and editing capabilities in dealing with the news items and reports from various sources inside and outside the Kingdom. Al-Shabanah was also briefed on mechanism of transmitting the news items in English, French, Chinese, Russian and Persian languages. Al-Shabanah visited the media and technical production center, media monitoring department and information center in the SPA headquarters. Meanwhile, Al-Shabanah visited today the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, General Commission for Audiovisual Media and the ministry's other sectors. Minister of Media Al-Shabanah has directed to exert efforts in order to improve the media work in the Kingdom, affirming to highlight the Kingdom's cultural and economic development in line with its regional and international importance in accordance with the latest technology in broadcasting media content.
