Dr. Al-Awwad scheduled to launch tonight Saudi Arabia

Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad has approved the executive regulations for types and forms of electronic publishing activities. The list consists of 17 items defining the mechanisms of dealing with electronic publishing activities and classifications and ways of obtaining the appropriate regulatory licenses to carry out the required activitis. The regulations describe all forms of electronic publishing that are licensed or registered and the conditions required for licensing, and that the field is open to receive those wishing to obtain licenses and registration with the department concerned at the ministry. Dr. Awwad Al-Awwad has appreciated the role being played by newspapers, websites and news accounts in highlighting the real picture of the Kingdom and its effective development according to the National Strategy for the vision of the Kingdom 2030 which achieves the development of man and place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
